forget WII, forget PSP, forget PS1 and PS2, forget DS!
Sure I own three of the five listed above, but I rarely play them. All the games they bring out now are crap! Who wants to sit and play the movie game of a perfectly good movie that they bring out on game, spoil the graphics on and twist the plot beond belief. That have bright flashy graphics that give you a bad headache?

What you really need to do is go to any decent gaming shop (I get all mine from GAME!) and get yourself a Nintendo64 and a GameBoyColor - the two original consoles by Nintendo.
Then; I recomend these games:
Pacman (it's so much better played old-school on a nintendo then on the computer)
Tetris (it's so much better played old-school on a nintendo then on the computer)
SuperMario64 (not the new one for NintenoDS, the original for N64)
the four original Pokémon games for GameBoyColor (pokémon blue, pokémon red, pokémon yellow and pokémon silver)
the original Pokémon colossem (for Nintendo64, not the new one for gamecube or WII)
the original 'The Legend of Zelda' for Nintendo64 (not the remake and spinoffs for any other console)
Kerby (the GameBoyColor version, not the NintenoDS spinoffs)

those are just a few of my favourites - there are loads more, including forgotten arcade games and loads of kungfu games like Ryko. You can get the consoles and games pretty cheap from most good gaming stores - usually second hand. But I wouldn't advise buying them over the internet - I tried it once and the game quality was dreadful.

Old-School gaming is the origin of all modern gaming - it's far better, I get far more pleasure sitting infront of my N64 or GBC then giving myself a headache infront of the bright flashy graphics of the PS2 or WII. Give it a try. It's well worth it!
